Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

Competitions are open to South African residents over the age of 18 years. Employees, their relatives (including family members and partners), agents, or consultants of Octotel and its affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Period

Competitions start as soon as the social media post is made live on Octotel’s official platforms. Entries close once the winner is announced and pinned to the specific competition post. Any entries received after the closing period will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

Follow the specific instructions provided in the competition post. Entries must comply with all guidelines specified in the post.

4. Winner Selection

Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received during the competition period. The decision of Octotel regarding the winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Prizes

The details of the prize(s) will be outlined in the competition announcement post. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered. Octotel reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal value without prior notice.

7. Claiming Prizes

Winners must claim their prize within 14 days of being notified. If a winner does not claim their prize within this period, Octotel reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

8. Consent

By entering this competition, you agree to Octotel using your name, likeness, and entry details for competition-related purposes. If you win, Octotel may announce and publish your name and use media content of you on marketing platforms, including electronic and social media. You may be invited to participate in other marketing activities, but you have the right to decline these invitations at any time.

Any personal information collected will be protected under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Octotel ensures the security of all personal information used for competition administration.

10. Disqualification

Octotel reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these terms and conditions if necessary.

12. Limitation of Liability

Octotel will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in this competition or from the use of any prize. By participating in the competition, you agree to these terms and conditions.
